Shifting Reality Through Weather Shamanism

The ancient art weather shamanism was once practiced all around the world. Rainmaking, bringing forth the sun, shifting the winds and storms all were part of the communication between humans and the earth wisdom.  The deep connection between Earth and the cosmos and an intimate understanding of the elements was an essential part of life.

This practice still exists though it has become more rare. I have witnessed and participated in this form of “magic” in my journeys and time living in Peru as well as in North America. Many times in ceremony we called to the sun to come forth and the rains to hold off. The indigenous healers spoke to the winds, the rains and the sun directly.  As we harmonize with the elements we become one being and they offer their
